“We’re Meet The Public and are a rock and roll/indie group based in the South at the moment. We recently played Hot Vox festival @ Proud Camden as the last date on our October/November tour around the UK. As a freshly formed and upcoming band getting out there and gigging is the most important thing to be doing at the moment as far as we’re concerned. Despite the exposure and amazing experiences we have had playing live and getting to know all the gig goers out there we have had a few ups and downs with shady promoters in the past. Our experience working with Hox Vox however was a breath of fresh air for us. On our arrival we were given a quick tour of the venue and clearly informed about sound check times, rules and regulations as well as about all the extras we were entitled to as performers. The event manager was always on hand throughout the night to cater for the artists hence why all of the acts on the bill performed with natural confidence and enjoyed the experience. Credit is also due to the sound engineer and gig organiser for their professionalism and charming manor. A great live event can only take place in our opinion when all those involved have a strong working relationship on the night and communication and courtesy is of the highest level.
