Born in Newtown, Sydney, currently living in London making my debut album.
My Father and eldest brother are both pianists, whilst my middle brother plays the drums. Starting on piano at age six, moving to guitar and drums at twelve, it was hard not to get involved in making music, growing up in such a musical environment.
I quickly tried to learn a few Metallica riffs like all good teenage guitarists should, and soon discovered that I could write my own ideas, and this felt really good. So I saved up and bought a 4 track tape recorder and started putting riffs and ideas on to tape at age 15. This then lead to the starting of a couple of bands through my teenage years where I was the principle songwriter. Nothing serious at this stage, however I knew early on that my love of making music wasn't just some fleeting hobby, it was here to stay.
