ENNOR

About

Penzance. Two hours from the nearest city, six hours from London. A tall boy hops on a train, loaded up with guitars and a suitcase full of songs.

With a one way ticket to the capital, Tom Elliott (aka Ennor) traded the white-sand beaches of Cornwall for the smog of London, intent on crafting songs in a city that pulses with music.

In order to create the sounds in his head, Tom brought a collection of musicians and friends onboard. The result is Ennor, an alternative folk-rock collective who tell stories through a driven emotive sound.

Distinct lyrics, an emotive voice and a knack for addictive melodies, Ennor sounds like the feeling you get when you’re looking out of a moving window with the world rolling by in a hazy but familiar blur.

At the centre of the project is an infectious love for music. Influences vary from the likes of Ben Howard and Half Moon Run to greats like John Martyn and The Police. Perhaps its no surprise then that the music often swings from campfire folk to electric infused indie rock.

Every person out there has a story to tell. Ennor attempts to tell them one song at a time.
