Held By Horses are a female fronted, five piece rock band from Essex, United Kingdom. Forming in January 2011 the band went on to record their debut self-titled EP just months later with songs they played at shows around many venues in and around Essex, on the same bill as bands such as Missing Andy, Mallory Knox, Johnny Get The Gun, Our People Versus Yours and Stealing Signs, to name a few.
In February 2012 the band recorded a brand new five track EP named "In History" with Dan Lancaster (due for release in September 2012) which was streamed online to a great reception from fans.
