Supporting UK acts such as Michael Cassidy (who has been recently touring with Ben Howard) and O'Chapman (whose been supporting Communion's Daughter), Liv & The Lionhardt's have already graced a multiplicity of profile venues within the modest time frame they have been together, along with regular airplay on Purple Radio, and recent airplay on BBC Introducing.
Combining folk and rhythmic elements, Liv & The Lionhardts songs are driving yet mellow. Soulful voices when mixed with spontaneous rhythmic passages build songs into at times moving and playful instrumental crescendo's of percussive guitar and Cajon drum, and beautiful violin lines.
The band, under the former premise of 'Liv & Toya' have also enjoyed airplay from BBC 6 Music & BBC Introducing Norfolk, as well as supporting 6 Day Riot at Sark Folk Festival 2011.
"Their beautiful voices and soothing melodies will have you mesmerised." [Butler live, Supporting Michael Cassidy]
"The atmosphere was completely changed as four-piece Liv and the Lionhardts took to the stage with a folksy, percussive sound. The eponymous frontwoman carried a particular stage presence, as the band navigated a foot-stomping medley of pop songs including ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’ and ‘Save Tonight’. More impressive still were the group’s original tunes, especially the soaring ‘Flicker of Time’" [Michael Cassidy support gig review]
"TheBubbleBurning's biggest name of 2012" [Butler live, Supporting Michael Cassidy]
