Wild Rock Doves

Wild Rock Doves are five young guys from London that have been playing together since mid-2011. Their style is deeply rooted in blues and southern rock heavily influenced by seasoned bands such as The Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, The Grateful Dead and newer artists such as Gary Clarke Jnr and The Tedeschi-Trucks Band.

The band was initially formed when frontman/guitarist Duncan Schmoll was asked to perform at The Hop Farm Festival in the UK supporting artists such as Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Ray Davies and Blondie to name but a few. After opening the festival to critical acclaim, the band went through a few names and guises before settling on the name Wild Rock Doves.

Since that initial performance the band has played at most of Londons top music venues to ever increasing crowds and has been featured in publications such as Blues In Britain Magazine.
