Tell It Slant intend to provoke two reactions in the listener simultaneously: to dance and to cry - a sort of weepy gyrating effect. Leo Kent, who hides away in a converted vicarage in North East London, provides the words and the warbling. Owen Wilson (outside his busy acting schedule) resides in Camberwell where he is concerned with collecting esoteric foot pedals and generally making the most unearthly sounds.
